there are currently 3 mailing lists at zonebbs.com (see "zone bbs users mailing list" link for info): users, staff and dev. i can understand what the users and staff lists are for, but what is the dev list used for? it appears to be very inactive.

The Dev list was intended for other developers who were interested in helping out maintaining the ZoneBBS code and contribute in the writing of new features and games. The idea never really took off since JJ and mr Chris N are just so good they've taken care of it all by themselves. But perhaps thee's interest in ressurecting the list and seeing if others have time and talent to contribute.

i'm sure given a chance there could be a lot of tallent found to help code this site.

I'm not good at coding so can't join said list, but maybe if those of us who are good at coding in the veriece programing languages used on this site try and spread the responcibilities around it will make the running of the zone by the devs a lot easier, and maybe more fun.
